This is a cherry car, ready to drive with a new top. The only work necessary for this daily driver is on the drivers seat that is a little worn from use. This is a Northern California car (Modesto Area).
I can be reached at 209/614-1338, ask for Robert. I can send pics upon request.

170 needed for my 1963 Futura
The over 100,000 mile rebuilt, wrong size, 144 engine in my Futura has expired. No longer runs, hemorrhaging oil. Does someone have a 170 that I can get my hands on for my Futura to get it running again? I miss driving my Falcon in this nice spring weather.
By the way, one of the most attractive Falcon sites around.
Thanks.

The current lucky generation of automotive customers has no real understanding of how truly awful a car can be.
Even entry-level vehicles and subcompacts these days are surprisingly well made, thanks to a revolution started mainly by Japanese automakers likeToyota and Honda Motor. Honda’s first-generation Accordcame out in the days when Detroit was producing real stinkers like General Motors’ Chevy Vega and Ford Motor’s Pinto. Between that time and today, the Japanese proved to the world that just because a car was cheap, it didn’t mean it also couldn’t be a well-built, value-laden automobile that looked and drove well.

Hello there. Im new in the restoration business. Anyone know where I can find the necessary parts and information needed to convert my 1963 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible’s Ford-o-matic 2spd to a more reliable C4? My mechanic said I would likely need a “change-over” kit to get it done right, so im coming to you guys, looking for help.
Any information or help would be deeply appreciated.
best wishes,
