Hello there. Im new in the restoration business. Anyone know where I can find the necessary parts and information needed to convert my 1963 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible’s Ford-o-matic 2spd to a more reliable C4? My mechanic said I would likely need a “change-over” kit to get it done right, so im coming to you guys, looking for help.
Any information or help would be deeply appreciated.
best wishes,
-trey

Will be having a barbeque at Richard’s shop in Tehachapi on May 18th, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Bring a side dish. Richard will put your car up on the hoist and look things over for you if you like. We will be meeting at the Park and Ride at WeedPatch Hwy at 9:00 AM to drive up the hill together. Should be a fun day with food, friendship and tech talk. Call me for information. You can get there by taking the Mill Street exit, turn south to the first street where the businesses are located.

Also, Jim Burke Ford is having a Ford Car Show on May 31st at the County Museum in Bakersfield and we would like to get some Falcons there, they have estimated 20- Falcons and Mustangs to be shown in a set aside area. Call me or email if you would like to get your Falcon there. The show is a non-competition thing and is from 10 – 3 PM. It is great for Jim Burke to include Falcons in their celebrations for the 100 Anniversary of Ford and 90th anniversary for Jim Burke in the automobile business. Let me know.

I get a lot of questions, phone calls, emails, etc. about where to find parts. I know in the past in our newsletter we have run a comprehensive vendor list which is pretty helpful when looking for parts. Unfortunately, not everyone belongs to the club which is to their disadvantage. So, here are some thoughts on parts and where to find them.
